Nurture news regarding coronavirus

Coronavirus may be in full swing come October/November... or it may be a distant memory.

We will continue to monitor the situation and react proactively, keeping you updated at all times.

Here's what we know at the moment: there are currently no warnings in New Zealand or Australia about avoiding travel to Fiji. We are monitoring the situation with regular updates from our airline/s and hotel, and we're keeping a very close eye on government guidelines click HERE if you're in Australia or HERE for New Zealand.

In the meantime, it’s business as usual for us, but we do want to reassure you that we have a contingency plan in place.

Cancellation policy

For your peace of mind, we have temporarily changed the terms of our cancellation policy to give you more time to make a decision about your trip to Fiji without worrying about penalties.

>> You have up to May 30 to cancel your booking for a full refund with no questions asked.

Beyond May 31, if the retreat is cancelled due to government-imposed travel bans, we will turn your initial $750 deposit into a travel credit that you can use for a future retreat eg 2021 and refund you the rest of your balance if you've paid in full. We are currently looking at February or March 2021 as alternative dates in the event that the retreat is cancelled this year.

Get health advice

We may not even be talking about coronavirus in 7 months' time but we agree with government advice that suggests you talk to your doctor before travelling with young children, babies or an elderly person; if you're pregnant; if you have a weak immune system, or have a chronic medical condition. In these cases, you might want to hold off booking your spot for a few months, to see how this situation evolves.

It is a condition of purchasing your retreat package that you purchase travel insurance within 24 hours of booking your spot. You can still get cover for some coronavirus-related costs, depending on what policy you choose from which company.

Be sure to contact your insurance provider and ask what options they offer, specifically related to coronavirus, before you buy a policy.
